There's no use being anxious; you just have to get through the recovery period!

Nine days post-surgery, my face looked "slightly stiff," which terrified me. Three months later, it looked completely natural. I exclaimed, "There's no use being anxious; you just have to get through the recovery period!"

After a facelift, your face will be swollen for a few days. During this time, your face will feel tight-I know this all too well, because I had a facelift three months ago.

Right after the surgery, I thought it would take a few days to recover, so I waited patiently. But nine days post-surgery, my face still looked a bit "stiff," which terrified me. I kept asking the doctor if I had done something wrong, if my nerves had been damaged. The doctor reassured me, telling me it would take more time to recover. But I was so anxious that I couldn't listen to anything he said, and I secretly cried every day.

Until two weeks post-surgery, this feeling gradually disappeared, and the swelling subsided. Calming down, I realized that this was the normal recovery period for a facelift, and there was no use being anxious; I just had to wait and see.

Three months post-surgery, my face had completely recovered and looked natural. My speech and facial expressions weren't affected at all. At a family gathering, my niece kept staring at me, asking how I suddenly looked so young! My daughter was laughing so hard she was doubled over, saying my surgery was totally worth it!

I've learned a few things from this surgery. First, choosing a good doctor is extremely important; a good surgery guarantees a healthy outcome. Second, you must trust your doctor. Don't be anxious after the surgery. Everyone's recovery time is different. If your recovery is slower, be patient; there will definitely be a "surprise"!
